This was my first trip to Swan Valley and the Palisades area. My husband and I visited in July for his family reunion. Our stay was delightful. We loved meeting Tom and Naoma who run Palisades Cabins and RV Park. They are most gracious hosts.
The cabins were adorable. They are extremely clean and well-maintained. The “log cabin” design is totally charming and we loved the log bed frames. I felt at home but far away from my regular big city life.
Personally, I loved the LARGE, FLUFFY towels in our room. The bed was comfortable. Night came early even in summer due to the close proximity of the mountains. The air was cool and crisp and I slept deeply each night. It was total bliss to enjoy a hot cup of morning coffee as we sat outside on the comfortable Adirondack chairs and then took a refreshing walk to watch the fisherman launch their boats on the nearby Snake River landing.
After a fun-filled day of hiking with our extended family, we took a short drive to Jackson Hole along the scenic Snake River. Viewing the Teton mountain range took my breath away and we enjoyed a romantic dinner before driving back in the moonlight to our mountain resort cabin.
Our only regret was having to leave so soon. We promised Tom and Naoma we would be back! ~ AnnMarie

We went past several of the RV parks in the vicinity and none looked as good as this park. There is easy access to the river. Restrooms and laundry are great; grounds are well tended. Arguably, we had the best site in the park #15. We called it the honeymoon site…a bit more expensive but worth it. Great little RV Park. Fishing is within walking distance of the river. Restrooms are nice, showers are nice and so is the laundry room. Really big rigs should look elsewhere, but under 38′ is easy. Mgr and staff are very helpful. Grand Teton is just over a very scenic hour of driving unless the multiple view and turnouts slow you down. Swan Valley is a beautiful area with so much beauty and gorgeous natural surroundings that you really should plan on staying here longer than you might have expected. We had a wonderful time at the Palisades RV park. It was quiet, friendly, and very well maintained. We had plenty of room for all 3 of our slides and the price was right.
